LIBRA Co-Founder Hayden Davis Accused of $12M Insider Gains from Kanye West’s YZY Memecoin

LIBRA co-founder Hayden Davis has reportedly made about $12 million from trading YZY, a Kanye West–linked memecoin launched on August 21, 2025, according to blockchain analytics firm Bubblemaps. The token faced controversy over insider-heavy tokenomics, with wallets tied to Davis allegedly buying YZY within a minute of launch. Davis, previously linked to the troubled LIBRA project and over 20 hacks in 2023, has also been associated with other celebrity tokens like MELANIA and WOLF. Recently, a U.S. court unfroze 57.6M USDC belonging to him and Meteora co-founder Ben Chow. Bubblemaps traced exchange-funded wallets connected to Davis through OTC deals and token sales, but stopped short of confirming he was an insider or creator of YZY. The investigation is ongoing.
