Ledger Launches iOS App with TRON Support for Enterprise Stablecoin Transfers

Ledger has launched an iOS app for its enterprise customers, expanding access to its institutional platform beyond desktop. The update also introduces native support for the TRON blockchain, enabling enterprise clients to securely manage TRX and TRC20 tokens, including USDT, directly from mobile devices. TRON, which processes roughly $80 billion in USDT transfers, has become the leading network for cross-border stablecoin transactions, especially in Asia and emerging markets. Ledger Enterprise’s iOS app offers features like hardware-enforced security, multi-approval governance, and tamper-resistant Trusted Displays, ensuring transaction accuracy and protecting against front-end compromises. The enterprise platform already supports more than 15 blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Solana, and Polygon. According to Ledger VP Sebastien Badault, supporting diverse chains and streamlining integration is a key growth strategy. The company prioritized iOS for the mobile rollout, with Android planned for the future. Ledger Enterprise now serves over 75 institutional clients, including custodians and asset managers. With its focus on compliance and full auditability, the platform is positioning itself as a key infrastructure provider for secure, large-scale stablecoin and digital asset operations.
