Hex Trust Integrates Lido’s stETH to Bridge Institutions with Ethereum Staking

Hex Trust, a leading crypto custodian, has added custody and staking support for stETH, the liquid staking token issued by Lido that represents nearly 25% of all staked ether. The integration enables institutional clients to stake ETH and manage stETH directly from Hex Trust’s regulated custody platform. By offering one-click staking, Hex Trust aims to remove common hurdles for institutions such as operational complexity and counterparty risk while giving clients access to both staking rewards and decentralized finance (DeFi) opportunities. With stETH, users can also engage in DeFi strategies like lending, collateral use, and restaking without needing their own infrastructure. Calvin Shen, Hex Trust’s chief commercial officer, emphasized that institutional investors require both efficiency and security. The new service reflects growing demand from traditional investors for safe entry points into Ethereum’s staking economy. With this launch, Hex Trust positions itself as a bridge between traditional finance and decentralized finance, combining custody and staking in a single platform. Institutions can now access the service directly through Hex Trust’s platform.
